Haptics bring a whole new dimension to the world of erotic hypnosis. But what are they? How do they work? Where can you find them? Your questions answered.

It was on the Shibbydex I first learned of haptics and the idea instantly attracted me! It combined my love of technology with my love of hypnosis, and promised so much. The concept is simple, a bluetooth enabled toy (vibration device) connected to the website – allowing you to feel synced sensations as you listen to the audio files. For those who cannot (or have not yet) experienced HFO, it promised to deliver where audio-alone would not. And … well… it certainly did!

Shibby, if you don’t already know of her, is one of the bigger names in the feminine-voice erotic-hypno space, so naturally she had first dibs at this tech. Behind the scenes of the Shibbydex are a few really great developers and helpers who built a bespoke code library to interface with the devices – and created “haptics scripts” (the timed instructions for the devices) for a few of her files.

What does it feel like

The sensations depend on the device you are using, but generally haptics are scripted for vibrators, and the best ones are those where you do not need to hold on to them. For those with male parts you have glans massagers (guybrators) and cock rings. For those with female parts internal and external vibrators, and for all; vibrating buttplugs and and nipple clamps.

The sensations range from low level arousing sensations to full powered intense ones. The magic however is in the scripting. You see it’s not on-and-off – these devices support multiple levels of strength, patterns, waves, strokes and knocks. The combination of those can be used to simulate general arousal, teasing, stroking/penetration, and even pulses that make you jump (great when synced with finger snaps).

Where can I find them

There are a few creators that now offer haptics enabled audio, and I will update this list over time.

Shibby

Incredible selection of haptics enabled files – highly recommend Control Room Inside Your Mind for new users.

Mistress Calia

Calia now has a great selection of haptics files covering many of her NSFW audios, you can find these on her website.

Sammys

Sammys now has a small selection of haptics that will soon be released on her site.

Earesistible

You can find all of Earesistable’s haptic files on her Patreon.

How does it work

It you are using haptics on the web, the instructions can normally be found on the creators pages. The general rule is you need an app called Intiface Central (by qDot) which is available for desktop and mobile devices.

You run the app, hit the big play button…

Pair your device using the start scanning button under Devices

Then, once connected, reload the web page and it should all hook up.

If you have the audio and haptics file (often called “funscripts”) – you can use haptic player software such as MultiFunPlayer.

I have also build my own web player over on HapticFun
hapticfun.com/player/

And there is funscript.io
beta.funscript.io/

Important note – Haptics do not currently work on iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads.

Which device(s) should I buy

Everyone is different, but from the community these are general recommendations. These recommendations are all Lovense devices, just because I have found the support and reliability to be the best in the market.

NOTE: These are affiliate links, so you may find them cheaper elsewhere.

Can I get a haptic file made?

Yes! There are a number of great haptic file authors around – and a few of them are available on hapticfun.com where we accept commissions. We are able to script haptics for any of your favourite files, assuming the audio artists approves. (We will even deliver a copy of the haptics to them too).

Can I make one myself?

You can. There are a number of software tools available, the standard seems to be OFS (Open Fun Scripter) but a good friend and talented developer Ilori, has released a dedicated scripting tool for audio called Haptics Editor.

You can find that here: https://github.com/ilor1/HapticsEditor-v2
